Bible Verse For Today Tuesday 20 May 2025 Morning Reading

John 1:1 (KJV) “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

Message: “The Eternal Word”
John 1:1 reveals a profound truth about Jesus Christ: He is eternal, divine, and one with God. Before time began, the Word already existed. This “Word” (Greek: Logos) is not merely a spoken message or idea—it is a person. Jesus is not a created being; He is the Creator. He was with God, showing distinction, yet was God, showing unity.

This verse dismantles any notion of Jesus as a lesser divine figure. Instead, it presents Him as co-eternal and co-equal with God the Father. The Word is the agent of creation, the source of life, and the ultimate revelation of God’s character.

When you receive the Word, you’re not just receiving truth—you’re receiving Christ Himself, the living Word who brings life, light, and transformation.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Thank You for revealing Yourself through Your Son, the eternal Word. Jesus, You are the beginning and the end. You were with God and You are God. Help me to live by Your Word and walk in the truth of who You are. Open my heart to deeper revelation of Your majesty and power. Let the light of the Word shine in every dark area of my life, and may I reflect Your glory in everything I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
